Minale Tattersfield & Partners is designing new packaging for French cigarette brand Gitanes Blondes. The design group won a fully paid pitch for the work in Paris, involving 30 consultancies.
Minale Tattersfield & Partners is designing new packaging for French cigarette brand Gitanes Blondes.
The design group won a fully paid pitch for the work in Paris, involving 30 consultancies. A shortlist of six groups was chosen, including the consultancies Carré Noir, Identica and Dragon Rouge.
According to Minale Tattersfield chairman Marcello Minale, “The aim of the repositioning will be to distance Gitanes Blondes, the quintessence of a French brand, from its associations with dark tobacco which is declining in popularity.”
The new designs are still in development and are due to be tested in spring 2000 in preparation for a relaunch worldwide.
