Burrows leaves Design House

Design House has lost its head of client services, Lou Burrows, who resigned and left the London consultancy at Christmas.

Design House chairman Tim May says Burrows, who was at the consultancy for eight years, “wanted a break and to move into something different”. She is believed to be looking for a position outside the design industry.

“There are no hard feelings and we wish her good luck,” adds May. Burrows was not available to comment on her departure.

Design House is not actively looking for a replacement yet, claims May: “We are so busy at the moment that all our time is spent looking after our clients.

“We are not doing an awful lot of navel-gazing,” he adds.

Burrows’ now vacant post may not be filled for some time. Design House is still looking for a creative director for its print and identity division, a post left by Peter Rae last July.

“We are not looking as actively as we were,” admits May.
