Redgate seeks Internet work

Redgate, the Scottish consultancy based in St Andrews, has launched a wholly-owned subsidiary to tackle Internet and Website design.

Called Gateway Active Media, the new company has its own premises in Fife and is headed up by new media director Archie Paton, previously at Contract Marketing Scotland.

Redgate design director Scott McCallum says Redgate had been learning about new media for 18 months before launching the new venture. Paton is assisted by a programmer and freelances for now but the new company will staff up once contracts are in, adds McCallum.

Clients already on board include the Scottish Rugby Union, Drambuie and Fife Enterprise. McCallum says Gateway is proving attractive to new clients and existing Redgate clients alike.
