DY Davies figures

Architecture group DY Davies has turned in mixed figures for the year to end-April 1995 – described as an ‘extremely difficult’ year by chairman David Davies.

Although there was a rise in turnover from 5.5m in the previous year to 7.4m, an operating profit from continuing operations of 89 000 was reduced to a 16 000 loss by the results from the now closed Middlesbrough office. Overall pre-tax losses increased from 56 000 in 1994 to 326 000.
