Sanders reports that she appointed the consultancy earlier this summer, on the strength of her relationship with Holmes Wood as neighbours.
‘I am a pyschotherapist, of which there are an increasing number, so I want to stand out and look more professional,’ says Sanders.
Holmes Wood creative director Lucy Holmes reports that, ‘It was a tricky brief, given her profession, but we did not contemplate introducing the idea of sex to the branding or site, since sex is merely the manifestation of a problem with addiction’.
The website reflects what Holmes hopes is ‘simple and confident, classic and elegant’ branding, featuring a serif font and a Venetian-blinds style motif. The group advised Sanders against the inclusion of photographs of herself, because ‘therapy is about the client, not the therapist’, says Holmes.
