All of Us creates website for Earls Court redevelopment plan

The consultancy was approached by the company in April and sought to create a site where membership is encouraged – partly through social media – to promote feedback and idea-sharing among the local and London-wide communities.

Planning issues, including design, transport, sustainability and social infrastructure are open to discussion and members are encouraged to attend ‘drop in’ planning meetings.

Urban planners, architects and sustainability specialists will be made available for community members to communicate with online.

All Of Us co-founder Simon ‘Sanky’ Sankarayya says it was important to create a site that won’t date quickly, as planning and building will go on for several years.

Sankarayya commissioned illustrator Robert Samuel Hanson to design graphics across the site. ‘We chose him from about 10 or 15 different illustrators that we were considering. He has a trademark style that’s timeless and we could draw together the composite parts of his work easily,’ says Sankarayya.

Sankarayya will take over as D&AD president from Paul Brazier in September.
