Design Week is ranked as top superbrand

Design Week is ranked ninth in the Media – Trade Publications category of the Business Superbrands 2009 list.

It is placed above Financial Times title The Banker, and Emap’s Architects’ Journal, which come in at ten and 11 in the category respectively.

Declan Gough, publisher of DW, says, ‘Being a business superbrand is a true accolade. It empowers us when engaging with our customers to assure them, on the best grounds possible, that we stand for quality, reliability and distinction, and also that their trust is deserved.’

DW is ranked number 457 in the full 500-strong list, which uses independent research to find the UK’s strongest brands.

The list is topped by Google, with Rolls-Royce Group at two and Sony at three.

Wolff Olins is ranked at number 330 in the list, with Interbrand at number 357.
