Hunterlodge creates branding for Filthyboy buggies

Hunterlodge has created the branding and identity for off-road buggy company Filthyboy.

Filthyboy, set up by off-road vehicle fan Tim Bentley, builds and supplies high-performance buggy style vehicles.

Hunterlodge was appointed last November without a pitch to work on the name, identity and branding for the company, which had started up in the summer, according to Hunterlodge creative director Peter Murphy.

The identity will launch next month, with a showcase of Filthyboy’s vehicles.

Murphy says, ‘When we first saw Tim’s prototype we all went bonkers for it – I’m sure it’s that excitement that secured us the job.’

He adds, ‘The identity of Filthyboy is all about going out racing and coming back covered in crap. The idea of what the car does helped us create the stencils and come up with the identity very quickly.’

Bentley, who is managing director of Filthyboy, says, ‘We are really excited to be working with Peter and the team at Hunterlodge.

‘They have grasped what we are about, share our enthusiasm and are helping us to achieve our goals with branding and identity.’
