Branding agency Slice Design has designed the Extra Ice Tin, a new tin for Wrigley mints.
The tins, which replace the previous cardboard box design, appeared on retailers’ shelves last week.
Alan Gilbody, creative director of Slice Design, says, ‘The key challenge with the mints was to create a pack that looked like it was part of the Extra portfolio but was clearly differentiated enough so as not to cause confusion with gum offerings.’
The new tin is the latest product that the London-based consultancy has redesigned for Wrigley. Other projects completed by Slice include the rebranding of Extra Ice, Fusion Extra and Extra Fusion LTD edition.
The new tins are being sold nationwide and are available in peppermint and spearmint flavours.
