Interactive consultancy R/GA New York has appointed Robert Rasmussen, a former creative director at advertising agency JWT, as executive creative director on the Nike account. He will replace Nick Law, who has been promoted to chief creative officer.
As part of the role, Rasmussen will guide the creative vision across the account that includes Nike+, Nike Running, Nike Id, Nike Basketball, Nike Women, Nike Gridiron, NikeStore and Nike.com. He will report to Law.
Prior to JWT, Rasmussen was employed for seven years at Wieden & Kennedy, Portland, where he created campaigns for Nike’s multiple business units and categories. He has also held the role of senior art director at W&K New York, leading the creative direction on the Sega account.
