The Partners has created a paper clip-inspired identity for a City fundraising event that will help a children’s hospice.

The consultancy has developed the logo and marketing communications for east London-based charity the Richard House Children’s Hospice’s Office Games fundraising event.

The logo uses the image of a paper clip, while four pictures applied to the marketing communications – which include banners, flyers, animations, posters and T-shirts – take inspiration from the stationery item.

In keeping with the theme, they depict people made from paper clips taking part in the games.

The Office Games take place on 25 July at Broadgate Arena, London EC2, challenging those taking part to become the first Office Games 2008 Champions.

It will feature an office chair relay, Post-it note fencing, floppy discus throwing and a recycling rowing relay.

‘Working for this charity has been great and our design team is currently in intensive training for the games, we feel we are a dead-cert to clinch the Post-it note fencing,’ says The Partners creative director Jack Renwick.

The Partners was appointed by Richard House director of fundraising Alex Brooks-Johnson.
