Applicants can be briefed in person at the BBC’s Television Centre on 29 July but must respond to the PQQ by 25 August. Details are to be published on the website of the Official Journal of the European Union. The roster’s remit will cover brand strategy, brand creative, advertising and digital strategy, and execution.
This latest roster shake-up at the BBC follows a marketing and communications roster reshuffle which concluded in June and saw Elmwood and Love Creative dropped from the original roster. Elmwood, Designate and Easy Tiger – which also lost out on that tender – cited a lengthy PQQ procedure and protracted rostering process as costly obstacles leading them to a roster which didn’t bear many briefs.
