The consultancy was tasked to develop the website by Harry Potter author JK Rowling. When it launches fully the site will feature background notes to the Harry Potter series as well as online games.

The Pottermore logo has been designed by Adam and Eve, which created all branding and marketing for the project.

Simon Lloyd, Adam and Eve’s creative digital head, says, ‘The logo design needed to be magical, bold and unique, while being simple enough to work in tiny online spaces and dramatic enough to work in a large outdoor format.’

He adds, ‘We also wanted to create something that had an irregularity to it, that would feel slightly haphazard and appeal to audiences both young and old.’

The website also features a stop-frame animation film, designed by Andersen M, promoting the game, which launches fully in October.
