Aricot Vert wins school task

Aricot Vert Design has been signed up to develop the identity and uniform for The Bridge Academy, a new school planned for Tower Hamlets in London.

The consultancy has been tasked with taking into account the many languages spoken by pupils and the fact that a number of pupils and parents will be new to this multicultural area of the city.

The Bridge Academy’s ethos is ‘Learn for Life’ and its focus on music, which will be at the heart of the academy, and maths will inform Aricot Vert’s design plans. The identity will be rolled out across stationery, literature and signage at the school.

In 2004, Aricot Vert won the Design Business Association’s Design Effectiveness Award for its work with Stockley Academy in Middlesex. It won the work for The Bridge Academy following this accolade.

The Bridge Academy will open in September 2007 and move into its permanent new buildings in September 2008.
