Jack Morton Worldwide has appointed Nelson Freitas, former senior partner at Ogilvy & Mather, as senior director of strategic planning.
The appointment comes as Jack Morton Worldwide London says that other key announcements regarding the consultancy’s global strategic planning and measurement capabilities will follow later in the year.
In his new role, Freitas will be responsible for advising clients on building the right portfolio of brand experience to connect with their customers.
Based in the New York office, Freitas will have global remit of JMW, while the consultancy is currently building and developing planning practice in each major office.
Freitas has developed strategies for brands such as Coca-Cola, DuPont Unilever and Delta/Song Airlines Ogilvy & Mather, where he was worldwide group planning director, as well as senior partner.
Prior to Ogilvy & Mather, Freitas held posts at TBWA/Chiat/Day and Saatchi & Saatchi, where he developed brand strategy for Sony PlayStation, Ikea, Levi’s and Tylenol.
