Caroline Felton to head up Creative & Cultural Skills

Caroline Felton has been appointed as interim chief executive of Creative & Cultural Skills.

She replaces CCS co-founder Tom Bewick, who has left the organisation to join business council Enterprise UK.

Felton’s previous experience includes interim management positions at The Junction, Hayward Gallery, Welsh National Opera, English National Opera and the Royal Shakespeare Company.

She will be working alongside acting chairman David Worthington, National Skills Academy managing director Pauline Tambling, and Felicity Woolf, director of UK operations.

Felton says, ‘I am extremely pleased to be joining CCS when there is so much potential for future development. I have a passionate commitment to skills, training and professional development, and believe that there is much more work to be done on this within the creative and cultural industries.’
