Imagination has come out in first place in DW’s 2009 Top 100 survey, with a total feeincome of £38.402m and a year-on-year growth in feeincome of 24 per cent.
Red Bee Media moves up to the second spot with a feeincome of £19.198m, from third last year, after last year’s second-placed Loewy Group decided to enter its consultancies separately.
Red Bee Media saw a 54 per cent increase in fee-income from last year. Gensler, which was not in last year’s rankings, is in the third spot, with a feeincome of £12.9m.
There are three new entrants from the Loewy stable: The Team, which ranks in fifth place; Seymour Powell, which is 14th; and Bristol-based Epoch, which is ranked 32nd.
The highest year-on-year growth in fee-income comes from Bulletproof, ranked 44th, which reported 61 per cent growth, to a total of £3.27m.
Almost a third of consultancies charted were newcomers this year, while more than a quarter anticipated zero growth in fee-income in 2009. The most optimistic consultancy is Met Studio Design, which expects a 57 per cent growth in feeincome over the next year.
The full rankings and analysis are in the Top 100 supplement, with this issue of DW.
