Oakwood creates ‘liquid engineer’ for Castrol

Oakwood Media Group has created a showcase for Castrol’s Offshore Ultimax, launching today at the the Global Offshore Technology Conference, in Houston, Texas, US.

The trade fair aims to bring together delegates from the oil and gas industry to exhibit what they term ‘the next generation of technology and innovation for the energy industry’.

Oakwood Design Consultants, which, having worked for Castrol Offshore for three years, is now officially rostered to BP, was briefed last November to create an identity and product brand architecture for the Ultimax range.

The concept takes its cue from Castrol’s long-standing strapline ‘liquid engineering’, with what Oakwood claims is a physical embodiment of ‘the liquid engineer’.

The visualisation forms the basis for the exhibition stand, online materials and launch video.
