Grow Wild – a wildflower planting campaign
SomeOne has created the look for Grow Wild, a campaign that encourages people to sow UK native wild flowers.
The consultancy has been working on the branding with the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, which is developing the Big Lottery Fund-supported project.
SomeOne worked with illustrator Celyn Brazier to develop imagery for the campaign.
This is based around a hand, sowing a seed, which can be used in a number of different ways on different touchpoints.
The consultancy says the branding ‘visualises the act of a hand planting a brand world of “magic seeds”.’
SomeOne co-founder David Law says, ‘The identity was intended to be flexible enough to accommodate the range of activity and needed to work as well on a local authority website as on guerrilla advertising in inner-city areas.’
The campaign is launching this month with Grow Wild seeking nominations for potential sites across the UK to plant wild flowers.
From spring 2014, the campaign will see 1 million seed-sowing kits distributed around the country.
Excellent concept, excellent art work skill….
