20/20 brings Planet to life
Woman’s retailer Planet is to open a new concept store today in the Heart shopping centre in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, with interiors by 20/20.
The front of the store features black glass surrounding the façade and mirrored panels showcase the latest collection imagery in the windows.
The store has been designed with two paces – a catwalk which aims to draw the customer in and a slower pace with specially devised fixtures where the collections can be browsed through.
Visual tricks have been used to subtly draw the customer’s eye to the product including lighting and high ceilings. On the back wall, a large plasma screen will play the latest season catwalk, while an etched black marble wall continues the mood.
‘We worked closely with Planet to bring the brand to life in a space that is a true manifestation of its essence,’ says creative director at 20/20 Sanela Lazic. ‘Together we created a sanctuary where the customer has a connection with the brand.’
