Tilt Design to open Australia office

Motion graphics and branding consultancy Tilt Design is planning to open an office in Australia in the new year.

Sophie Rogerson, managing director of the London-based consultancy, says the move will allow Tilt to offer a 24-hour service, as well as pick up clients in Australia and the surrounding region.

The office will be established in April, and although a site has not yet been chosen, Rogerson says it is likely to be in Sydney or Melbourne.

Rogerson says, ‘Recently, we have had a lot of clients with really quick turnaround projects, and we’ve been running the office for 20 hours a day. This will allow us to work on projects 24 hours a day.’

She adds, ‘The Australian dollar is currently at a record high against the pound, so there has never been a better time for Australian companies to use UK design.’

Rogerson adds that Tilt Design has also been working with a lot of Australian creative talent, some working locally and some based at the consultancy’s office in London.

The consultancy works with clients across Australia, Thailand and the wider region, including ANZ Bank.

Last month, digital consultancy Reading Room announced it was expanding further into Australia, opening its third office in the country in Brisbane (News, DW 15 October). The consultancy’s chief executive Margaret Manning described the country as ‘an amazing growth market’.
