The consultancy was commissioned to the work in August by Kshocolât, which has recently been acquired by brand-owner Bon Bon Buddies. Kshocolât tasked R Design to develop the brand as a ‘stylish and design-led product’.
Kshocolât, which was established in 2003, specialises in unusual flavours such as chilli chocolate and lemon and black pepper.
A new identity and look will see the brand brought ‘more in line with the premium chocolate market’, says R Design designer Sian Sargent, who says a ‘fashion and style approach’ is being taken across packaging ranges, which R Design will try to bring together to achieve brand consistency.
Flavour-led colours will be introduced to the new packaging but dark brown will be kept as a main colour.
