Landor expands in Australia

Landor Associates is expanding its presence in Australia with the opening of a second office in the region.

According to managing director of Landor Australia, Michael Graham, it has been the group’s intention to open an office in Melbourne for some time with several of its clients based there.

The consultancy already has an office in Sydney, and Charlie Wrench, chief executive of Landor Associates, says that ‘by expanding into Melbourne, we are fulfilling our strategic vision and will be able to better serve the region with two full-service offices’.

Bruce Shaw has been appointed general manager, Melbourne, and is joined by a team of designers, brand consultants and client services staff. Shaw has most recently been responsible for the Melbourne-based creative services group Coles Myer.

Among the clients already based in Melbourne are Foster’s Group, George Weston Foods, food group General Mills and the Australian Football League.

Landor employs 70 people in Australia and has worked with clients such as Nestlé, Procter & Gamble, financial services group Goldman Sachs JBWere and Sydney Olympic Park Authority.
