Packaging webchat

Following on from its graphic design webchat, held last month, The Guardian is set to host a session looking at working as a packaging designer.

The webchat, which will be held from 1-4pm on Wednesday, will look at questions including what skills and qualifications are needed to break into the industry, and feature a host of experts who will pass on their knowledge of working in packaging design.

The panel of industry experts, who will be answering questions, will include Dragon Rouge creative director David Jenkins, Tim Clarke of Burgopak, Satkar Gidda of Siebert Head, Dell senior manager of global packaging Oliver Campbell and Claire Lockwood, subject group leader of visual communication at Sheffield Hallam University.

The panel will also feature representatives from Anthem, Sharp Interpack, Coley Porter Bell and Popsop.

Questions can be posted in advance on the Guardian Forum site.
