Rosie Arnold is deputy president of D&AD

Rosie Arnold, deputy executive creative director at ad agency Bartle Bogle Hegarty, has been elected as deputy president of D&AD.

She will join All of Us co-founder Simon ‘Sanky’ Sankarayya, who took over as president last month. Arnold will succeed Sankarayya as president next year.

Arnold says, ‘I am delighted to be entrusted with such a big responsibility. I believe it’s our duty to continue to highlight creativity in the minds of not only the creative community but also the public in general, and I look forward to working closely with Sanky and the executive over the coming year to ensure we’re the place of record and note for worldwide creativity and design.’

Sankarayya says, ‘I’m thrilled to have someone so well respected by the creative community to liaise with in my year. Her passion, altruism and wit coupled with her business acumen are just a few of Rosie’s many talents, so her appointment is a perfect decision by the executive.’

He adds, ‘There’s so much to plan with our imminent 50th year coming up and I’m sure Rosie and I shall be hatching plans for a stylish celebration, launching D&AD into the adventure of the next 50 years.’
