Magpie defines Spirit of Adventure for Mamont vodka

Magpie Studio is working on the brand strategy of Siberian Vodka brand Mamont, positioning it as the ‘Spirit of Adventure’ through ads and new packaging.

Appointed in December after a three way creative pitch by Marussia Beverages BV, the consultancy has sought to tell the story of brand owner Frederick Paulsen, ‘an adventurer, who’s hobby is going on expeditions,’ says Magpie Studio creative director Ben Christie.

‘One of Mamont’s USPs is their iconic bottle shape, so they were keen to have a product shot in the ads. Rather than making it feel like an afterthought, we decided to make the bottle an integral part of the ads,’ says Christie.

Press ads, banners and brochures will roll out from next week before Magpie Studios begins work on packaging the standard product and a limited edition range.
