2011 Design Week Awards judges announced

Nina Jenkins, head of branding at Virgin Atlantic Airlines, has joined the line-up of judges for the 2011 Design Week Awards.

Jenkins joins a team including five other design representatives from the client side: Clive Grinyer from Cisco, James Mair from Viaduct Furniture, Kate Shaw from Crabtree & Evelyn, Theo Williams from Habitat and Sunita Yeomans from Argos.

The 30-strong judging panel will cover six specialist sections as part of the judging. The interaction design team will be chaired by Malcolm Garrett of Applied Information Group, with Adrian Shaughnessy overseeing print and Paul King chairing packaging and point-of-sale. Jenkins will join the branding and wayfinding judges chaired by Simon Manchipp of Someone.

Mair will meanwhile lead the product and furniture design team, with Callum Lumsden of Small Back Room handling interiors.
