Landor & Fitch has rebranded to Landor and hired Christian Schroeder as global president, a newly created role at the consultancy. The refreshed brand expression is a result of a five year strategy that has seen an expanded offer across consultancy, design and experience.
According to Landor, the “more singular brand” will help to communicate its “unity and shared culture post-merger”. The studio confirmed that retail design remains a key part of its key offer.
Household has recently appointed Paz Martinez Capuz as design director. She joins Household having worked for the likes of The Body Shop, Coca-Cola and Samsung at her former agencies Elmwood and Forpeople.
Brand experience and packaging design consultancy Vault49 has announced three senior promotions within its London team. Gali Lucas and Tom Macpherson have both been promoted from design director to associate creative director, while Anna Stanford has been promoted from senior marketing manager to marketing director.
Lucie Covington (ex-Aruliden) and Frederic Trigalo (ex-JKR) will be joining Athletics’ growth department, Covington as associate director of growth and Trigalo as director of growth. Convington’s diverse portfolio includes work in various sectors including luxury, beauty, healthcare, CPG, sexual wellness, and wearables, while Trigalo brings more than two decades of experience in new business development within branding and design.
Dragon Rouge London has hired Paul Woodvine as its new executive creative director. He has previously held positions at Vault 49 and PepsiCo.
Borne has appointed Darrel Williams as head of design and creative. He has more than 16 years’ experience with global agencies and brands including Lexus, Toyota, Aon, and has created award-winning work with The Post Office and Siemens. His most recent position was at Design Bridge and Partners, working with the gaming and tech team on brands including Intel, ESL and Faceit.
Sustainable design and production specialist The Echo Group has appointed Antony Parham as creative director of the group’s experience design agency EchoX. Parham joins from Imagination London where he was an executive creative director.
Bristol-based centre of excellence for design and placemaking Design West has welcomed Nick Fairham as its new a new Chair of Trustees. Fairham, who is also chief executive of global multidisciplinary design practice BDP, joins Design West at a crucial time in the charity’s development as it looks to grow its design review and placemaking services and expand its public programme of talks.
Chester Design Foundation has officially opened its new 22 Bridge Street location, which will house its ōH Concept Store and ōH Collective atelier studio. The recently formed Foundation is an entrepreneurial community interest company (CIC) and this move is part of its mission to support the growth and development of the creative industry start-ups and scale-ups in Chester.
Branding consultancy Monroe has unveiled its refreshed brand identity, accompanied by a new website and campaign film. It has been designed to mirror Monroe’s core values.
Lumsden has been appointed to design retail, hospitality and event areas for the Natural History Museum of Denmark. The studio will work on the restaurant, shop, ticketing, event, and flow areas in the new exhibition building, which is currently under construction in the Botanical Garden. The new museum building is expected to open to the public in a couple of years, but preparations for both exhibitions and public areas are already in progress.
Leeds-based branding agency ALLGOOD is celebrating its twentieth year in business this year. Co-founder Paul Dodd established the business in 2003 to offer branding and design to companies in and around Leeds. Originally a creative duo formed of Dodd and his best friend James Robinson, the pair went their separate ways in 2009 and James tragically passed away from cancer earlier this year.
The business now boasts a five-strong team with plans to recruit another two people over the next year; while its turnover has doubled in the last three years alone.
