Have tough times forced even our greatest creative stars to rethink how they do things? Evidence suggests they have, going by this shot of the eminent Michael Wolff touting his services around Mexico earlier this year.
Wolff was caught on camera by Mike Dempsey when the two joined Martin Lambie-Nairn at British Council-organised conference Meet the Masters to engage with local designers and students in Gudalajara and Mexico City.
It transpires that Dempsey’s role didn’t stop at photography though. He also created the branding for the van – and applied the lettering.
Can we expect a joint venture in due course? – a real meeting of the masters? Broadcast design great Lambie-Nairn might even be persuaded bring in his team at Heavenly to promote the duo on-screen.
