Jack Morton Worldwide and Imagination are two of the UK design groups that have picked up awards in this year’s Film & Video competition from the New York Festivals.

The international awards competition aims to recognise the best work in the world in informational, educational and industrial film productions and corporate videos. Two gold medals went to Jack Morton – one for its recruitment video for Shell, titled Achieving More Together, and a second for the Nseries Adventure Trailers, an internal communications film for Nokia.

Imagination won a silver for its Iosis Concept Film for Ford of Europe’s four door coupé and a bronze medal for Unsung Heroes, a customer relations film for Ericsson. PCI Fitch also won a bronze for its work on HSBC internal sales presentation films.

Other UK winners include VooDooDog’s title sequence for Smokin’ Aces, Gallerymedia’s animation for Hilton International and a clutch of medals for The Edge Picture Company.
