Jasper Conran launches new website
Jasper Conran has unveiled a new website, which will act as a showcase or gallery to his collections, feature exclusive imagery and a personal blog by the designer.
The Jasper Conran company will not name the consultancy it has worked with but confirmed it was not designed by Conran Studio or any of the Conran and Partners consultancies.
‘The new site is inspired by the concept of a white gallery space, with an intuitive Pintrest feel,’ according to the Jasper Conran company.
It is image-led, features vertical and horizontal scrolling and is fully responsive on all platforms. It also features a photographic inspiration blog by Jasper Conran ‘to add a social element to the site’ according to a Jasper Conran spokeswoman.
Although it is a showcase site rather then a retail site, there are sections on products sold through licensees such as Debenhams and Wedgwood.
There is also an archive dedicated to the women’s collection going back to 2004.
Cat-walk footage and photographs have been combined with back-stage material on sections of the site showing new collections.
A news section uses picture indexing to send visitors to pages within the site detailing the latest updates about the company.
