Omnicom’s Interbrand Group is set to launch a dedicated e-business and branding network in seven cities across the world.
Based in standalone offices in London, San Francisco, Tokyo, Zurich, Singapore and Toronto, the network will be independent enough to exploit contemporary “dot.com” working practices but will be backed by the Interbrand and Omnicom group networks.
Interbrand Newell and Sorrell director and digital branding head Jez Frampton will be managing director of the London office, initially with 15 to 20 staff, largely from INS. This number will increase as the office grows.
The network will be significantly expanded to further countries over the next 12 months in a bid to create a heavyweight global digital branding network.
