Haven celebrates with Enterprise IG rebrand

The Royal College of Art has appointed Hilary French, formerly senior lecturer at Kingston University School of Architecture, as deputy course director for industrial design and furniture.

French will work directly with Ron Arad, who was appointed as professor of the newly formed department last year, when she takes up the newly created role next week. Industrial design and furniture were previously run as separate departments.

“I hope the rearrangement of the courses within the school of Architecture and Design will reflect the blurring of boundaries between the disciplines, creating a more open environment in which students can pursue more experimental work within the widest possible definition of design practice,” says French.
