Yet more designers get on their bikes

Although they are generally thought to be ahead of the times, many in the design community are still heeding the advice of Tory politician Norman Tebbit, given at the height of the Thatcher era, to get on their bikes.

The latest designers to return from a charity fund-raising bicycle trip to an exotic place are Real Life designer Emma Booty, Coley Porter Bell account director David Lightman and freelance web designer Julia Jacques.

The intrepid trio raised 6000 for special needs charity Norwood Ravenswood, by pedalling 300 miles across Nairobi. Booty apparently has 800 pictures of the event, so her friends are advised to steer clear for a while, until the fuss has died down.
