1 Zaha Hadid’s Bridge Pavilion for Spain’s Expo Zaragoza has opened, featuring four exhibition spaces. The expo will focus on water and sustainable development, and runs until 14 September.

2 Swiss designer Enzo Finger has designed the front cover and layout of the Design In Italia book by Stefano Casciani. Published by Abrams, with photography by Tom Sandberg, it examines the history of modern Italian design, from World War II through to the present day, and includes brands such as Kartell, Alessi, Flexform and Driade.

3 Designer and artist Aisha Khalid is having in her first solo show in the UK throughout July, at the Pump House Gallery in Wandsworth, London SW11.

4 New York’s Museum of Modern Art has bought two works, titled Vertigo and Serpico, by Manchester-based consultancy Magnetic North’s creative director Brendan Dawes. The giant artworks come from Dawes’ Cinema Redux project.

5 The Brand Union is rolling out a redesign of SAB Miller’s beer brand Miller Genuine Draft. The new design includes a Miller eagle with an embossed neck, a colour palette of deeper reds, blacks and golds, and a less cluttered, clearer label.

6 Caulder Moore has completed its first retail interior for the New Look clothing brand in its Liverpool One store. The design has been created, says a CM spokeswoman, ‘to be easily translated across all stores internationally’. Four design staff worked on the project led by CM creative director Ian Caulder and lead designer Suzy Paget.
