Graphic design supremo Derek Birdsall has won this year’s Prince Philip Designers Prize, at a ceremony held last night at the Design Council in London. Birdsall is known for his design work with the Church of England’s prayer book Common Worship, Nova and Penguin.
The shortlist of 200 illustrators has been whittled down from over 3,000 entries, and will go on display at Somerset House in June.
