This week sees the first in a series of profiles of the “founding fathers” of design written by Design Bridge managing director Richard Williams. The first is of Rodney Fitch (see page 14).

Williams, on sabbatical from the ten-year-old London group, has interviewed five personal heroes. All were buoyant in 1986 and informed his approach when setting up Design Bridge.

Michael Peters, Michael Wolff, Stewart McColl and Sir Terence Conran will also be profiled.
