Consortium wins Expo 2005 work

A three-company consortium from Canada has won a bid to design and build Canada’s Expo Pavilion for Japan in 2005.

The consortium, made up of Toronto-based interactive design group Immersion Studios, to which UK designer Malcolm Garrett was recently appointed creative director, exhibition groups The Lunny Group and Lambert Internationale, beat four other consortiums to win the work, worth CAN$15m (£7m).
