Coulton Design Consultancy, a London design group launched five months ago by former McBrides & Grandfield Design Consultancy chairman Gus Coulton, has won two annual report clients in the Middle East.

Gulf International Bank and Gulf Investment Corporation have both appointed CDC to create their reports. “We have high hopes of further work from the Gulf region, an area I know well,” says Coulton. Both jobs were won after three-way credentials pitches against unnamed rivals.

Coulton formed financial services specialist CDC after becoming frustrated with his management role at McBrides & Grandfield. “I founded CDC because I had suffered for some years from the frustrations of spending too much time away from the drawing board in management meetings,” he says.
