Powell laps up words of sympathy

Designers can save s on birthday and get well cards by drawing their own. Seymour Powell has already established itself as a leader in this field, with Richard Seymour having made a card for his long-term colleague Dick Powell after Powell broke two bones in a bike accident.

The consultancy has outdone itself now, however, with ex-SP design engineer Peter Williams sending Powell an entire cartoon.

But Williams, who works at Therefore Ltd, couldn’t resist raising Powell’s competitive hackles.

The cartoon claims that Powell was lapping Donington race track at two minutes 20 seconds.

“I can do it in between two minutes to two minutes five seconds,” says Powell in a fax to DW.
