Londoners win travel awards

Young furniture and fashion designers from London have been awarded travel bursaries worth between 1000 and 2000 in a scheme co-ordinated by the London Enterprise Agency.

ZPM, formed by Zoe Phayre-Mydge in 1996 to make travel bags, is among seven groups awarded bursaries under the Dresdner Kleinwort Benson Export Awards scheme.

The Mercers Company Awards, which help design consultancies develop websites, were won by furniture design groups Joe Design and Angel Monzon.
