Design Bridge has produced a logo for the new National Cricket League, which starts next month.
The brief for the consultancy involved portraying the fast-paced, colourful and entertaining style of the new league. The league’s introduction is part of a drive by the English Cricket Board to appeal to a younger, wider audience.
Features of the league, sponsored by CGU Life, include two divisions, colourful team strips, nicknames for each county and several floodlit games.
The logo’s dual image depicts a bowler about to deliver, or a ball crossing the boundary.
