How do interior designers brush up on sustainability?

I read with interest the first installments in the series on sustainability – a well-timed initiative on a topic that could be of great importance to designers.

Though I appreciate that it is hard to generalise about sustainability, as an interior designer I would be interested in finding out more on the subject.

Can anyone suggest sources of information that can give an overview or any conferences I can attend to join the debate?
