London’s Science Museum to host Formula One technology exhibition

London’s Science Museum is set to host an exhibition looking at how Formula One technology can be applied outside the racetrack. Fast Forward: 20 Ways F1 is Changing Our World opens on 11 March, ahead of the Australian Grand Prix on 29 March. Designs on show will include the K2 All-Terrain Wheelchair (pictured top) and the Baby Pod II (pictured above), a container for transporting ill babies to and from hospital which has a structure similar to an F1 driver’s cockpit.
