Peacock Design has created artwork for Human League’s latest album, Secrets, released at the end of July. The group photographed the pop stars separately and then put the shots together to form a composite. ‘Everyone was slightly cheated to ensure their eyes and lips lined up,’ says Peacock studio manager Stuart Crouch.
MarinaTex, an organic and biodegradable alternative to traditional plastic, was developed by University of Sussex student Lucy Hughes.
The visual identity combines the club’s “illustrious heritage” and “future glory” with an eye to digital platforms and more casual fans.
The week-long festival will also host speakers including interaction design expert Daljit Singh and representatives from Heatherwick Studio.
