High flyers from MGA

Look, Mum, no hands! Andrew Marten and his team at London group MGA helped raise 32 000 for Kingsmill Children’s Hospital in Mansfield with their daredevil stunts.

The four of them had 150 hours to learn to tight-rope walk on a 3.5m-high wire the width of a pencil. The gala night under the Big Top of Zippo’s Circus was performed without the use of a safety net. Although there were a couple of tumbles, the whole team managed to complete the walk, with Marten even doing a couple of tricks.

Maybe next time they should try something really character-building, like lion-taming.
