B&B Italia joins forces with Herman Miller

Leading furniture manufacturer B&B Italia has become part of the worldwide Herman Miller group of companies.

The new enterprise, which is the “conclusion of a strategic agreement between the two companies”, according to a Herman Miller spokeswoman, is to be known as Herman Miller Italia Spa. The new company, based in Milan, will continue to sell B&B Italia’s products and takes over its production, marketing and distribution facilities.

Robert Webster Interiors, the UK agent for B&B Italia, will continue to “service the architecture and design clients”, says proprietor Robert Webster. “Things don’t change for me,” he adds.

However, B&B Italia products will now also be available in the UK through Herman Miller.
