Controversial Savile Row tailor Richard James has introduced a website to keep up with its competitors.

Created by Motion Pixels in London, the site is designed to reflect the tailor’s “flamboyant personality”, says consultancy creative director Paul Baillie.

It features revolving buttons and a Shockwave “mix & match” dressing room, where a conveyor belt of shirts and ties can be clicked on and matched up.

The site contains about 20 pages and, in the long run, may be used to sell products, says Motion Pixels art director Tim Abbott. Richard James products currently sell worldwide.
