Design Motive has been appointed by Granada to brand new national coffee shop chain Viva, in a bid to develop the company’s high street presence.
The London consultancy beat two other groups, including Design House, in a three-way pitch for the job, which includes corporate identity, signage and interiors.
Viva will roll out from February, pitched as an alternative to existing coffee shop chains.
According to Design Motive brand development director Richard MacGilchrist, “This new coffee retail concept will enable Granada to develop its high street presence. The market has not been saturated yet, but it is heading in that direction.”
