A Consilience; Visions of the Future; Fresh Masaala – Identity Explored; Urs Fischer; Peter Wüthrich.

A video installation by Jan Fabre shows at A Consilience until 29 February. Fabre’s work is described as a sharing of knowledge across disciplines.

Venue: The Natural History Museum, Cromwell Road, London SW7.

Visions of the Future is an open exhibition which runs until 19 February. Visitors are asked to put forward their visions for the future to be part of the work on show. A talk will also be held on 10 February.

Three Asian artists from diverse backgrounds collaboratively examine how they see themselves and how they are perceived in Britain today. Fresh Masaala – Identity Explored shows from 15 January until 26 February.

Venue: Mead Gallery, Warwick Arts Centre, University of Warwick, Coventry CV4 7AL.

New sculptures by Urs Fischer show from 19 January until 27 February. Fischer’s large scale sculptures explore the potential of objects and materials to create complex meanings and sensations.

Venue: Lower Gallery, Institute of Contemporary Arts, The Mall, London SW1.

An exhibition of work by Peter Wüthrich runs until 19 February. Wüthrich uses books in a variety of ways as the material basis of his art.

Venue: Laure Genillard Gallery, 82-84 Clerkenwell Road, London EC1.
